Tommy Steele, a pupil at Bacon's School, Pages walk, S.E.1., from 1946 to 1951, is now the school's most famous old boy. Today Tommy went back to his old school to show the school an 'Omnibus' programme, "Tommy Steele and Things" being screened on 21st December in which many local personalities appear. Also present at the showing was the boy who plays Tommy in the film, 5 year old Michael Webster of Bermondsey. A class in progress at the school showing a teacher and pupils at their desks.
