Live Aid dual venue benefit concert held on 13th July 1985 at Wembley Stadium in London, England, and the John F. Kennedy Stadium in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. The concerts were organised as a follow up to the Band Aid single "Do They Know Its Christmas?" to raise money for victims of the famine in Ethiopia. Picture shows George Michael, promoter Harvey Goldsmith, U2 lead singer Bono and Paul McCartney performing on stage during the finale of the concert at Wembley.
