HRH the Prince of Wales visit to Northumberland, visiting the Hepple gin distillery with Lady Riddell and Sir Walter

he Prince of Wales visited Hepple Whitefield Farm near Morpeth on Thursday morning.
His Royal Highness?s first stop was to Coquetdale in Northumberland National Park to learn more about the juniper restoration project at the farm.
The Prince planted a juniper bush and Mary Gough, farming and rural enterprise officer at the park, said it was an ?absolute honour? to host the Prince of Wales. She said: ?It was lovely to see him out in the national park.
Prince Charles then was given a guided tour of Moorland Spirit Company?s Hepple Gin distillery, who have helped develop the juniper programme along with Northumberland National Park, Newcastle University and Hepple Whitefield Farm.
The Prince of Wales sampled a few sips of Hepple Gin in the form of a martini, and owner and managing director Walter Riddell said it was a ?thrill? to guide royalty around the distillery.
