Princess Diana leaves the home of slain Italian fashion designer Gianni Versace in downtown Milan, one week after the Italian designer was gunned down outside his Miami Beach home.
Later in the day, a mass was held at Milan's Gothic Roman Catholic cathedral and was attended by around 2000 people including family members and scores of international celebrities.
The Princess is wearing a Versace black shift-dress and holding a leather Kelly bag with Medusa heads, re-named “the Diana bag”.
