Breeding ground of the tsetse fly. Two European men crouch over a breeding ground of the tsetse fly at the base of a Mopani tree. Tsetse flies feed on blood and are attributed to the spread of sleeping sickness (African trypanosomiasis) in humans, which is endemic in certain regions of Africa. Probably Northern Rhodesia (Zambia), circa 1950. Zambia, Southern Africa, Africa.
