Reverend John Harris. Portrait of Reverend John Harris (c.1870-1940), a Christian missionary worker based in Africa with his wife, Alice Seeley Harris. The Harris couple became organising secretaries of the British & Foreign Anti-Slavery Society and were involved in exposing the atrocities of King Leopold II's Congo Free State. Location unknown, circa 1930.
