Akalis at Coronation Durbar, 1903. Full-length portrait of two Akalis (Nihang), prestigious Sikh warriors, who wear traditional, tall turbans coiled with steel, in which to store weapons such as knives, swords, and kirpans (Sikh ceremonial daggers).
