Four silver spoons with relief representations of animals in the bowls, They are from a set of 11, part of the First Cyprus Treasure found at Lapethos at the end of the 19th century. Probably the treasure was buried before the town was destroyed by the Arabs in mid 7th c Byzantine. c 600AD. Lapethos, Cyprus.
