Human headed stopper, one of four, Found in the canopic chest in the tomb of Tutankhamun each stopper represents the king wearing a nemes headcloth and concealed the kings canopic jars. During mummification the organs were removed from the body and the heart, lungs and viscera were separately embalmed and placed in canopic jars. Egypt. Ancient Egyptian. 18th dynasty ( 1357 1349BC ).
