Ivory comb, Incised in the centre is a serekh with the Horus hawk (signifying the king) perching on top and the name of King Djet written inside. It is flanked by two was sceptres and an early form of the ankh sign. Above is a birds wing represents the sky and a barque ferrying a hawk, perhaps the sun god. Egypt. Ancient Egyptian. Old Kingdom.
