Talisman incised with a goddess, probably Hathor, holding the ankh sign of life, Peridot, which was used for inlays and jewellery, was mined at Zeberget and this talisman probably belonged to a miner. The sacred cowhorns of the goddesss headdress have been misunderstood by the carver and turned into the hieroglyph Neb. Egypt. Ancient Egyptian. 18th dynasty, 1550 1295 BC. Zeberget, Sinai.
