Scylitzes chronicle, Folio 199. The blinding of Prousianos for plotting against the emperor. At the left the enthroned emperor pronounces the sentence, the execution of which is the subject of the central part of the miniature. At the right, the mother of Prousianos is expelled from the palace. Byzantine. 11th c historian of events of 9 11th century.
