Sun Dance effigy doll, The most sacred object to the Crow was the Sun Dance effigy which was used in the tribal ceremony to assist the pledger in obtaining a vision that would lead to the defeat of an opponent. There were several effigies in use, all made from the skin of a white tailed deer, but each painted differently. USA. Plains Indian, Crow.
