The Qutb Minar

India, View of the Qutb Minar, one of the greatest monuments of Islamic architecture in India. At 72.5 metres tall, the celebratory victory tower was built to accompany the Quwwat-ul-Islam mosque, and was probably inspired by the style of Afghan minarets.
