Making Paper Milk Containers
Légende
New York, New York: c. 1928
Sheffield Dairy Farms workers using the new Sealcone paper containers in which to pack milk, replacing the glass bottle. They are lighter, they don't break, and pack twice as efficiently due to their conical shape. Here the containers are being made from the sheets of spruce fiber paper by the worker's right hand and that are fed into the machine every three seconds.
