Amish Men Protest PWA Grant
Légende
Washington, D.C.: c. 1934
Two Amish men in Washington D.C. to protest the Public Works Administration {PWA} grant to build schoools in their district as it would violate tenets of their sect that forbids acceptance of loans and it would also require students to ride in buses to reach the schools, another departure from their way of only using horse drawn carriages for transportation.
