New York, New York: April 15, 1919
Belgian soldiers who have arrived in the U.S. to help in putting the Victory Loan "over the top". All of the soldiers were at the Defense of Liege battle in the early days of the war. With them are two Belgian dogs which were used to haul small field pieces, carry messages, and to locate wounded soldiers.
