New York, New York: April 7, 1926
The famed British tank "America" arrives in New York at Pier 64 on the North River. It was built in England and gained fame on the Western Front. The British War Ministry then bequeathed it to Cornell University in Ithaca where it will be mounted as a memorial to the students and alumni who fell in the World War.
