The latest in European gambling is the "Bet on the Birds" game. Dwarf parrots are enclosed in plastic cylinders which they propel by walking around rungs on the rim and an electrical system flashes the winning number in the 37 bird field on the board on the wall in the background. The winner at the extreme right has just gone under the finish line.
