Indians Making Adobe Bricks
Légende
California: c. 1916 The padres taught the Native Americans to make the adobe bricks used in the building of the missions. Adobe soil and dried horse manure were shoveled into a pit. Water was added and the sticky mud was mixed by the bare feet of the Indians as they tramped around in the pit.
