Paris, France: June 13, 1938
The "Father of Psychoanalysis", Dr. Sigmund Freud, arrived in Paris today on his way to exile in London from his native Austria. The Nazis allowed him take his papers and some personal property, but confiscated munch of his money and real estate in Vienna. He is greeted in Paris by Princess George of Greece, one of his disciples, and William Bullitt, the U.S. Ambassador to France.
