Little Alf, six months old, at the Yale Laboratories of Primate Biology in Florida. He was the first son of Alpha, who was the first chimpanzee to be born at the YLPB. He was used in a nutritional study in 1962, and then sacrificed. He would have been 23 when he was killed.
