Horsford's Acid Phosphate "The Little Dancer" 1890. A Victorian medical tradecard for a "quack" medical cure showing a man playing the accordian as a little girl dances. This medicine was for mental and physical exhaustion and dyspepsia. Many cards of the era had images used over and over again for a variety of products. The same images can be for medicine or candy. The graphics were intended to catch attention and improve the product's sales.
