Parker's Hair Balsam 1890. A Vitcorian tradecard for a "medicine" that is guaranteed to rerstore the hair to bald heads and to make it grow thick, long, and soft. In reality, these quack concoctions were mostly alcohol or poisons like lead. The story on this card has a woman telling her man that because of the medicine and his hair now, their marriage was saved.
