Los Angeles, Calif., April 1942 - A shop just before Japanese were evacuated from "Little Tokyo"; Last call to pick up suits and gowns before shades were pulled down in "Little Tokyo," in Los Angeles, prior to evacuation of residents of Japanese ancestry. Many were assigned to Manzanar, War Relocation Authority Center, in Owens Valley, Calif.
