Sochi region, russia 5/96: a physician tatyana gvozdik vaccinates a monkey, one of those evacuated from the sukhumi's institute of the medical primatology of the russian academy of science after the georgian-abkhazian conflict, nowadays she as well as several other monkeys live not far from the resort city of sochi in the village of veseloye where the scientists of the institute are engaged in research on space medicine problems, the animals are being prepared for the forthcoming space flight for the 'bion-11' programme.
