Moscow, russia, august 16, 2011, bar tender in a diner car on a moscow-to-beijing passenger train, as it waits to depart from moscow's kazan railway terminal for its first journey, the new passenger train service launched by two companies, ooo rzd tur and vao inturist, has been dubbed the transsiberian express, with ticket prices ranging from 3,5 to 8 thousand euros, the train service is effectively a package tour with stopovers at kazan, yekaterinburg, novosibirsk, krasnoyarsk, irkustsk, ulan ude, mongolian capital ulaanbaatar, and the chinese city of erlian, the highlights of the 14-day transeurasian journey include guided tours and an overnight in a mongol yurt, as well as an opportunity to explore the diverse cuisines of european and asian cultures.
