Moscow, russia, 1998: an exhibition the 'lianozov group: sources and destinies' has opened in the tretyakov art gallary halls in the krymsky val street, about one hundred paintings, sculptures and engravings, covering forty years of the group's creative work, are displayed at the exhibition, the group's history goes back to the year 1958, when the artist oscar rabin, who lived next to lianozovo railway station in moscow localities, opened the doors of his house for unofficial artists and poets, admirers of modern painting and belles-lettres, in september, 1974, their exhibition in the open air in the suburbs of moscow, was smashed with bulldozers, the times have changed, nowadays, rabin, masterkova, nemukhin are called the classics of modern russian art, their works are presented in the art collections of prestigeous museums on both sides of the atlantic ocean, pictured: at the exhibition.
