Kazakhstan, march 27 2001 - picture shows president of the kazakhoil company nurlan balgimbayev (c) and deputy board chairman of the chevron firm richard matzke (r) opening the gate-valve of the'tengiz-black sea' oil pipeline during the ceremony at atyrau as the caspian pipeline consortium (ktk) on monday started pumping oil into the pipeline running from tengiz oil field in kazakhstan to the russian black sea port of novorossllsk, the oil is expected to reach the terminal by june 2001, according to the ktk press service, it will take some 90 days and a million tons of oil to fill the 1,580-km-long pipeline.
