Magic Lantern slide circa 1900 hand coloured. created in 1887. A tour of North Wales. Llangollen Bridge, over the river Dee. This Bridge, which has recently been widened and im¬proved, was long regarded as one of the seven wonders of Wales. It was erected in the 14th century by Dr. Trevor, Bishop of St. Asaph. The river here is very broad, but extremely shallow, and, as the view shews, rushes over a very rough and rocky bed. Llangollen is a favourite fishing station.
