Magic Lantern slide circa 1900 hand coloured. created in 1887. A tour of North Wales. Pass of Aberglaslyn, from the Bridge.— This alone is worth coming into Wales to see. The nearly perpendicular rocky walls extend to the height of 700 feet above us, covered most of the way with beautiful fir trees. These stretching upwards, with the road winding under, and the stream bubbling over the scattered rocks, impress a wondrous silence upon us, and our imaginations begin to be excited. The scene is more like minature Swizerland than any other in Wales, and the longer one gazes at it the more one seems to love it
