The railroad that leads from earth to hell
Légende
Print shows a drunkard on the "railroad" to ruin which passes the "Devils Office" and the "Bar and Pool Room", a healthy "Tree of Live" over which hovers a "Guardian Angel", followed by a house "For Sale", then, as the end of the road approaches "Hell", the "Tree of Life Now Dead" and a small log cabin labeled "Washing Done by a Drunkards Wife." The alphabet appears along the railroad, from left "Heaven" to right "Hell" with words for each letter that signal the decline of the individual as he proceeds along the line. Includes a statement addressed to "My Dear Reader" by "Yours truly, Milton W. Garnes" in which he presents his life as a "traveler on this railroad" and how he turned his life around, forsaking alcohol and embarking "the work God has given me to do.".
