Set in Zanzibar, it depicts the search by various parties for a missing man named Jack Morgan (Onslow Stevens), as well as a legendary cache of ivory. The jungle mystery involves a creature (half man, half ape) named Zungu (played by Sam Baker). Tom Tyler played the hero, Kirk Mongomery, and Cecilia Parker played the heroine, Barbara Morgan, searching for her missing brother. .
