Hisham's Palace. 8th century AD. Khirbat al-Mafjar, near Jericho. Was built by Waild Ibn Yazid in 734 AD, during the reign of Caliph Hisham Ibn Abdelmalik (724-743 AD). Decoration with stucco. Rockefeller Archaeological Museum, Jerusalem, Israel.
