Egypt. Temple of Edfu. Ancient temple dedicated to Horus. Ptolemaic period. It was built during the reign of Ptolemy III and Ptolemy XII, 237-57 BC. Reliefs on the walls of the second hypostyle hall of the temple. Depiction of The Pharaoh wearing the Deshret (Red Crown) which confirmed the king as ruler of Lower Egypt. The Pharaoh making offerings to the God Hathor.
