Czech Republic. Prague. The Powder Tower or Powder Gate. Architectural detail. Gothic style. Original city gate. It separates the Old Town from the New Town. Its construction began in 1475, during the reign of Vladislav II by Matej Rejsek (1445-1506). The gate was used to store gunpowder in the 17th century.
