Under Secretary for Food, Nutrition and Consumer Services Kevin Concannon enjoyed a lunch during his visit to Nottingham Elementary School in Arlington, VA, on Wednesday, October 12, 2011. For this National School Lunch Week event, farmers from Big Riggs Farm, and Maple Avenue Market Farm were very popular with the students today. The menu included roasted chicken, roasted butternut squash with dried cranberries, farm fresh mixed lettuce salad, turkey wraps, pita wedges, hot muffins, carrots, Asian pears and more.
