Two-armed ParasuRama, one of the avatar (incarnations) of Vishnu, stands in samabhanga on a low dais. In his right hand he carries a parashu (axe), which rests on his shoulder, and in his left is a lotus flower. A Vaishnava namam (emblem) is drawn on his forehead.
