Krishna subdues his antagonist
Légende
Krishna, with one foot on Kaliya’s five hoods and the other poised to step on one of its coils, subdues his antagonist. He carries the flute in his right hand and the tail of the defeated serpent in his left. He is depicted as a blue-complexioned figure, with a Vaishnava namam (emblem) on his forehead and his hair gathered in a topknot, decorated by a peacock feather and golden ornaments.
