Durga, with ten arms, standing in pratyalidha on the back of the galloping Mahi?a. She holds his tongue with her lower most right hand and his tail with one of her left hands. Her central hands carry the trishula (trident) . In her right hands are the chakra (discus), a sword and ghanta (bell). In her left hands are the shankha (conch), a buckler and pasha (elephant goad) . Her forehead is adorned with vibhuti and small fangs protrude from her mouth. Her crown is surrounded by tongues of flame.
