Légende
Shiva as Dak?inamúrti, shown with four arms and seated with his right leg crossed over his left and held in place by a yogapatta, sits on the summit of Mount Kailasa. In his upper right hand is the mriga (gazelle) and in his upper left is the fire; his lower right hand is in the teaching gesture and the lower left is empty. He is clad in a tiger skin. Beneath the god’s left foot is the Apasmara purusha, red-haired and snubnosed. Sitting on a throne on either side of Shiva is a sage with matted hair, hands folded in anjali mudra,.
