Kattavarayan wearing padukas (wooden clogs)
Légende
Kattavarayan is depicted in pratyalidha, wearing padukas (wooden clogs). In his right hand he carries a dagger and in his left a gada (mace). On his forehead are tripundra (three horizontal lines) and at the root of his nose is a vibhuti (ash of cow dung) mark. Three bottles, probably of liquor as appropriate for a village deity, are shown on the brown expanse in the foreground.
