Brooklyn, New York February, 1922 August Hill, with a carrier pigeon that flew into the Hill Piano Factory pigeon cages with a note that read: "Help-Stranded on island 23¬? 47¬?". Hill believes it is from his son who disappeared in November while duck hunting on Jamaica Bay.
