Road rail cars.
Légende
Road rail cars, able to join up from a railway and transport passengers to their destination were the newest form of transport in 1931. Two sets of wheels, one flanged and one tyred, enabled them to run on both road and railway track. From The Pageant of the Century, published 1934.
