Caricature of Andre Boniface Louis Riqueti, Vicomte de Mirabeau, 1754 - 1792, aka Barrel Mirabeau (Mirabeau-Tonneau). Brother of the orator Honore Mirabeau. One of the reactionary leaders at the opening of the French Revolution. Seen here in the yellow and black uniform of his legion, The Hussards of Death, and playing with a yo-yo a game known as L'emigrette, popular at the time. From a contemporary print.
