Saint Radegund (ca. 520-587). Princess of Thuringia and queen of the Franks by her marriage to Clothar I (498-561). Radegund receiving the habit and being consecrated a deaconess by Medard (456-545), bishop of Noyon, when she left her husband King Clothar in order to enter the religious life.
