Street scene in Accra in the midst of a masquerade event. In the shade of a large building, a crowd gathers round, many of them in fancy dress and masks. A large number of the revellers appear to be mocking the British, with two couples dressed in Western-style wedding attire and several more in pith helmets, a top hat and white masks with large noses.
