One of a series of four images of costumed Nandi tribesmen who apparently appeared in Paul Hoefler's 1930 film "Africa Speaks." This was the first sound film of Africa, made over a 14 month trip made by Hoefler and his group, the Colorado African Expedition, from the East to West coasts.
