View of Shwedagon Zedi Daw known as the Great Dragon Pagoda or Golden Pagoda in Rangoon (Yangon). The base of the giant gilded stupa can be seen to the left. There are subsidary smaller votive stupas surrounding the central monument and a larger tiered padoga to the right. Several Burmese locals can be seen venerating the stupa in prayer.
