Burmese craftsmen making Buddha sculptures
Légende
A group of four Burmese craftsmen are making large seated Buddha sculptures. They work underneath an open shelter with a thatched roof in a jungle clearing. There are tools and building materials on the forest floor. The Buddha sculptures have a gilt finish and are depicted in the traditional bhumisparsha mudra ('earth touching' mudra). Handwritten caption reads: Burmese making Idols in Jungle.
